Published

Mindray’s booth at ADLM 2026, in the Anaheim Convention Center, had an LED wall set into its front wall and a product launch on the booth during the show. Two of our crew ran the screen, the sound and the microphones, with the kit from our own warehouse in Anaheim.

For ADLM 2026, the annual meeting and Clinical Lab Expo of the Association for Diagnostics & Laboratory Medicine (July 26–30, 2026, Anaheim Convention Center; expo floor July 28–30), PixelPro Productions supplied and ran the AV on Mindray’s booth, working with the booth builder. A 3.5 × 2 m Gloshine MV Pro 2.6 LED wall (indoor, 7680 Hz refresh) is set into the booth’s front wall on ground-support frames held down with sandbags, driven by a NovaStar MX20 and Hirender media servers. The sound is two QSC powered speakers, a 16-channel digital mixer and two wireless handheld microphones. We moved in on July 24, had the wall lit and tested before the expo opened, and struck on July 30. During the show the booth held a product launch, and two of our crew ran the LED playback, the sound and the microphones through it. Our warehouse is in Anaheim, so the kit came from the same city as the venue.

The brief

Mindray, the medical-device maker, showed its in-vitro diagnostics line at ADLM 2026 under the banner “IVD Smart Ecosystem”.

A booth builder built the booth. We supplied what plugs in: the LED wall set into its front wall, the sound, the playback, and the crew to run them, including a product launch on the booth during the show.

Moved in July 24

We moved in on July 24, two days before the meeting opened and four before the expo floor. The LED arrived in its flight cases, Gloshine MV Pro 2.6, while the booth front was still bare board.

A wall set into the booth front

The wall is 3.5 m wide and 2 m high, 7 m² of LED. It stands behind the booth’s front wall on ground-support frames, three sets, held down with 100 kg sandbags, and the front wall closes round it.

From the aisle it reads as part of the booth, not a screen standing in front of it.

Lit and tested before the expo opened

A NovaStar MX20 drives the wall; Hirender media servers play the booth’s content. Before the expo floor opened, the wall ran on a test card under the booth’s “IVD Smart Ecosystem” header.

The MV Pro 2.6 refreshes at 7680 Hz, so phone cameras on the expo floor record it without flicker lines.

Sound and playback for a launch on the booth

During the show the booth held a product launch. Two QSC powered speakers, a 16-channel digital mixer and two wireless handheld microphones covered it, with the playback on Hirender servers behind the wall.

Two of our crew ran it: the LED playback, the sound and the microphones, to the launch’s running order.

The screen, the sound and the microphones answered to the same two people.

The result

  • The wall was lit and tested before the expo floor opened on July 28, ran through the expo days and the launch, and came down on July 30.
  • The Anaheim Convention Center is in the same city as our warehouse: LED, sound and crew for a show there come from across town.
