Vendor-neutral certification covering needs analysis, design, installation, and verification. Frequently a named requirement in enterprise and public-sector RFPs. Held by an individual — a company cannot be CTS certified, and any vendor telling you otherwise is describing something that does not exist.

FAQ
The questions procurement teams and facilities managers ask most often before awarding AV work in California.
Any AV work that attaches to the building structure, runs line-voltage power, or requires a permit must be performed under an appropriate CSLB license. A General B (General Building) license covers projects involving two or more unrelated trades — which describes virtually every LED wall install, since it combines structural attachment, electrical, and finish work. PixelPro Productions operates under CSLB license #1063528, class B, issued to AI Home Inc.
CTS (Certified Technology Specialist) is the AV industry’s primary vendor-neutral certification, issued by AVIXA. It certifies competence across the full project lifecycle — needs analysis, system design, installation, verification, and client handoff. Many public-agency and enterprise RFPs require CTS-certified staff on the project team. Note that CTS is held by a person, never by a company: AVIXA permits only the individual who maintains the certification to use the designation. Ours is held by Pengcheng (Peter) Lin and can be verified on Credly. When a vendor says "we are CTS certified", ask which named member of staff holds it and when it expires.
We carry General Liability and Workers’ Compensation coverage, and the $25,000 contractor license bond that California requires of every CSLB licensee. Certificates of insurance are issued on request during procurement. Note that a license bond is separate from a project performance or payment bond: California public works contracts require a performance bond at 100% of the contract price. We do not currently provide project performance or payment bonds.
NCE (NovaStar Certified Engineer) certifies hands-on competence with NovaStar’s LED control ecosystem — controller configuration, receiving card mapping, calibration, and commissioning. Because we hold NCE in-house, the team that supplies your controller is the team that configures and supports it, with no third-party handoff.
California publishes license status publicly. Search license number 1063528 on the CSLB website to confirm classification, status, bond, and workers’ compensation on file. We link directly to our CSLB record rather than asking you to take our word for it.
