How long does a church LED walltake?
Less time in the room than most churches expect, and more time before it. Three of our projects, day by day.
In PixelPro Productions’ church projects, the work in the room has taken from two days to two weeks. At Remnant Ministries in Las Vegas a 98-cabinet LED wall went up on a free-standing frame in two days between services. At Good Stewards Church in West Covina a 38-foot, 144-cabinet wall took six days, Monday to Saturday, and was used for worship that Sunday. At a church in downtown Los Angeles the whole room, LED wall, sound, lighting and a four-camera livestream, took two weeks on site. The longer part comes before installation: at Good Stewards the design went through eight revisions, and the equipment took about ten weeks from order to delivery.
What sets the schedule
The days in the room are the part everyone asks about, but they rarely decide the date. Five things do:
- Design sign-off. At Good Stewards the design went through eight revisions before the contract was signed.
- Equipment lead time. The Good Stewards equipment took about ten weeks from order to delivery.
- The structure. A frame designed for a short install goes up faster than one built to a difficult wall.
- The days the room is free. Some churches can give us the week between two Sundays; some, only two days.
- Other work in the room. During a renovation the AV work follows the renovation contractor’s schedule.
1. Six days between two Sundays: Good Stewards Church, West Covina
The senior pastor met Peter Lin at NAB in Las Vegas in April 2022. Saturday site visits and eight design revisions followed, and the contract was signed on June 3; the LED and the custom trim were ordered the same day. Before it shipped, the whole wall was assembled at the Gloshine factory at the church’s exact dimensions and run through a burn-in.
The wall arrived on Monday, August 15. The aluminium frame took three full days to build and level, the 144 cabinets went up from Wednesday to Friday, and the screen was configured by Saturday. On Sunday, August 21, the church worshipped in front of it. The video system, training and handover followed on the Monday and Tuesday.
2. Two days between services: Remnant Ministries, Las Vegas
Remnant Ministries uses its room three days a week, so it could give us two clear days. The wall behind the stage carried equipment that could not move, so the LED wall stands on its own free-standing aluminium frame.
We set out the frame with a laser on the first day, built it and mounted the 98 cabinets across the second, and worked long days to hand over before the next service. It is our shortest church installation.
3. The whole room in two weeks, inside a renovation: downtown Los Angeles
A Korean church in downtown Los Angeles was renovating its sanctuary and asked us for everything at once: a 72-cabinet LED wall, line-array sound, eight front lights and a four-camera YouTube livestream. It is the one church project where we supplied every system in the room.
Everything went in over two weeks on site from May 29, 2024, timed against the renovation contractor’s schedule, with the room sheeted and scaffolded around us.

Work backwards from the Sunday you want to use the screen. Leave room for design decisions and for the equipment to arrive, then book the days in the room: in our projects, from two days to two weeks.
Tell us early which days the room is free, and whether any other work is going on in it. The installation plan starts from those two answers.
Questions about church LED schedules
Will we lose a Sunday service while the LED wall goes in?
Not necessarily. At Good Stewards Church the wall was delivered on a Monday and used for worship that Sunday; at Remnant Ministries it went up in two days between services. The plan starts from the days your room is free.
How far ahead should we order a church LED wall?
At Good Stewards Church the equipment took about ten weeks from order to delivery, and the design went through eight revisions before that. Lead times depend on the product and on stock, so we confirm them when we quote.
Can the AV work happen during a church renovation?
Yes. At a church in downtown Los Angeles we installed an LED wall, sound, lighting and a livestream over two weeks on site, timed against the renovation contractor’s schedule.
