What to know about the MX 2× HDMI 2.1 Input Card
- 8K at 30 Hz, not 60: some listings say 8K at 60 Hz, but NovaStar rates this card at 8192 × 4320 at 30 Hz. For 8K at 60 Hz NovaStar makes a separate DisplayPort 1.4 card.
- Fits only the MX6000 Pro and MX2000 Pro. The MX40 Pro, MX30, MX20 and KU20 take no cards.
- Standard formats go up to 3840 × 2160 at 60 Hz; wider ones (4096, 5K, 8K) are set as forced or custom in the controller.
