In August 2024 we installed a P2.5 screen in the Miniso store on the Third Street Promenade, and in September made it bigger.
PixelPro Productions supplied, installed and commissioned the LED screen for the Miniso store on the Third Street Promenade in Santa Monica, California. In August 2024 it was a P2.5 fine-pitch screen of 6 × 4 cabinets of 640 × 480 mm, 3.84 × 1.92 m; in September 2024 the store added 12 more cabinets and the screen became 6 × 6, 3.84 × 2.88 m. Because the cabinets are a fixed size, a screen like this can grow in whole rows later without replacing what is already up. Can an LED screen be made bigger later?
Yes, in whole cabinets. The Santa Monica Miniso screen started at 6 × 4 cabinets in August 2024; in September 12 more were added to make it 6 × 6, with the same cabinets, so it reads as one screen.
